Originally created as the cover artwork for TwentyOne Magazine – Issue #1, this piece celebrates one of the most exciting developments in Bitcoin’s evolution: the Lightning Network.

Bitcoin gave the world sound money.

Lightning makes it move.

Fast, borderless, and accessible to anyone with an internet connection, the Lightning Network expands Bitcoin’s possibilities without compromising the principles that made it revolutionary in the first place.

The DeLorean featured in this artwork is no accident.

For many, it represents a journey into the future—a reminder that today’s innovations often look impossible until they become everyday reality. Just as the DeLorean became an icon of time travel, Lightning represents Bitcoin’s next leap forward, connecting people across the globe in seconds.

Creating this artwork as part of the TwentyOne Magazine team was an opportunity to contribute to one of the oldest and most respected Bitcoin communities in the German-speaking world. Together, we share a common goal: educating people, encouraging curiosity, and helping others discover the possibilities of Bitcoin.

Printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Paper, crafted in Germany since 1584, every collector’s edition is produced to museum-quality standards and individually hand-signed by mx12Art.

Each artwork carries its own Bitcoin wallet, loaded with 2,100 sats from the moment it is created. As additional editions find new homes, earlier collectors continue receiving additional sats through the artwork’s built-in stacking mechanism, rewarding those who supported the collection from the beginning.
