17 years ago today (Jan 11, 2009), two simple words were posted:
“Running bitcoin.”
Since then, thousands of bitcoiners in 50+ countries have run in that spirit.
A small post, a world changing moment. 🧡
It’s a limited edition of 21 numbered pieces. Each artwork includes an integrated bitcoin wallet, and the sats are placed directly into these wallets.
The flow is simple and symbolic,
If someone buys 3/21, a small amount of sats goes to 1/21 and 2/21.
If someone buys 4/21, a small amount goes to 3/21, 2/21, and 1/21 and so on.
Each new piece strengthens the ones that came before.
This artwork also carries personal meaning for me. It holds memories connected to my accident and at the same time, memories we all share.
Many of my illustrations live beyond a single piece, they appear in magazines, books, and long form stories.This one will have something special as well
If someone is interested, I can also create a larger format version in acrylic.
